Nature Places Map
Nature in Antioquia:
Joaquin Antonio Uribe Botanical Garden
Savaneta Park
Don't skip the food carts nearby! I tried some local street food that was honestly better than some restaurants and super inexpensive.
Wear comfortable shoes – the paths can be uneven, and you want to explore without worrying about sore feet later on.
Keep an eye out for free events on the park's social media; I stumbled upon an awesome live music session by chance.
Desires Park
Don't forget your camera! There are so many Instagram-worthy spots here. I missed a few because I didn’t think to capture them when I was exploring.
El Poblado Park
I suggest checking the weather before you go. It can rain out of nowhere, so keeping an eye on the forecast saves you from getting soaked!
I think it’s a great idea to wear comfy shoes. The paths can get a little uneven, and you’ll want to stroll around without any pain.
Arvi Park
Medellin River Parks
Don’t forget your camera! The views along the river and the parks are stunning, and I regret not capturing more moments when I was there.
Make sure to take a bike ride along the river! I rented one at a kiosk for just a few bucks, and it was such a fun way to see more of the area.
Lieras Park
Berrio Park
El Penon de Guatape
Park Plays Descalsos
My advice is to visit in the early morning around 8 AM when the park is less crowded and the weather is nice. You’ll enjoy a peaceful stroll and great photo ops.
