Top Culture in Bolivar

Check out the cannons and tunnels. They’re super interesting, but I didn’t realize they were there until after I missed them!

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. You’ll be doing a lot of walking, and some areas have uneven surfaces.

If you want a stunning view, climb to the top of the fortress before sunset. The colors over the city are incredible!

I recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. There are places to refill it around, and it’ll save you some cash instead of buying drinks every time!

If you're into photography, try going around 4 PM when the light is amazing for pictures. I got some stunning shots and the place looked even better!

My advice is to visit on a weekday. I went on a Saturday, and it was super crowded. Weekdays are much calmer, and you can really take in the architecture.

I suggest visiting Las Bovedas in the early morning, around 9 AM, to avoid crowds and get better deals from the vendors... Trust me, it gets super busy as the day goes on!
