Consider bringing your snorkeling gear. The underwater life at the nearby playa is fantastic and it's a great way to make the most of your visit!

Bring cash for the entrance fee, as they don’t accept credit cards. I learned this the hard way and had to find an ATM later!

Pack a picnic! There aren’t many food options inside the park and I really enjoyed my lunch on the beach. Plus, it saves you money!

My advice is to visit Punta Uva in the morning around 8 AM. The water is so much calmer and perfect for swimming, plus you beat the crowds before they arrive

Renting a bike was a game changer for me... It made getting around so much easier and I could explore hidden beaches... Just make sure to lock it up when you stop!

I suggest trying the local eateries instead of the touristy spots. You'll save money and get a more authentic taste of the Caribbean. Don't miss the patacones, they’re delicious!

If you want a chill beach vibe, skip the mainstream Playa Cocles and head to Punta Uva instead. It's less crowded and the scenery is stunning. Bring some snacks and a beach towel to really enjoy the vibe.

I suggest checking out the local surf shops for rentals. I thought I could just rent on the beach but ended up paying way more. Shop around a bit, and you'll find better deals if you’re flexible!

I recommend bringing some snacks and water. There aren't many vendors right by Playa Negra, and I ended up wandering a bit far for a bite to eat. Trust me, you'll enjoy your beach time more when you’re not hungry.

My advice is to visit around 3 PM for the best light. The sunset's stunning, and it's less crowded then. Just make sure to stick around for the magical colors—it’s totally worth it!

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beach cafes can be a bit pricey, and I found some great spots to chill with my own picnic. Save your cash for local craft souvenirs instead!
