I recommend bringing your own surf gear if you can. Rentals can add up, and having your own stuff made me feel more comfortable. Plus, you can just hit the waves anytime without worrying about return times!

I think it's a good idea to grab local meals around the area instead of dining at the surf/yoga center. You'll save a ton and get to experience the authentic Costa Rican flavor. The sodas nearby offer a great vibe!

My advice is to book your yoga classes in advance, especially the morning sessions. They can fill up quickly and you don't want to miss out on the stunning sunrise views while stretching it out.

I recommend checking out the local surf schools for lessons, especially if you're a rookie. They often have great package deals that save you money and time – just don’t forget to haggle a bit

my advice is to hit the beach around 4 pm when the sun isn't blistering hot. you’ll catch the perfect waves and avoid the crowds, plus the sunsets are insane!

Make sure to check the surf conditions before heading out. I went on a day when the waves were way too big for my skill level, and it was a bit frustrating. Some local surf shops offer good advice, though.

I suggest arriving before 9 AM to snag a good spot on the beach. By noon, it gets super crowded, and finding a place to lay your towel can get tricky, trust me!
