I recommend going during the grape harvest season, usually late September to October. You’ll see the vineyards bustling with activity, and it’s totally cool to watch! Plus, there might be some fresh juice tastings you can snag.
Honestly, I thought taking a taxi would be easy, but it took forever to find one later in the day. If you're in a group, rent a car. It’ll save you so much time and give you the freedom to explore the countryside.
My advice is to keep an eye out for local events. I stumbled upon a wine festival that wasn’t widely advertised and it was such a blast! You get to sample wines and meet local winemakers.

If you're planning to visit on a weekend, try to go around 11 AM. It was pretty quiet then, and I got to enjoy the tastings without feeling rushed. The crowd picked up later!
