Diocletian's Palace
Riva
Cathedral of St. Due

Watch your head! The entryway can be a bit low for taller folks. I nearly knocked myself out, so be careful as you step inside!

Grab a local pastry from a nearby café before you arrive. Trust me, it made my visit feel special and I saved on overpriced snacks inside.

I suggest spending some time exploring the surroundings too. The old town is stunning, and you'll find some hidden gems that aren't mentioned in travel guides.

If you're into photography, try to go on a weekday. I went on Saturday and the place was packed, making it hard to snap that perfect shot.
Split Cathedral
Mestrovic Gallery
Monastery of Our Lady of Health
Klis Fortress

Make sure to wear comfy shoes! The paths can be a bit rocky and uneven, which I learned the hard way. I almost twisted my ankle while trying to take a cool pic!

I suggest grabbing a bite at a local eatery before heading up to the fortress. I found some great places in the area and it saved me a bit of cash compared to eating inside the fortress!

If you can go around 10 AM. The light for photos is amazing and it’s less crowded. Don’t rush take your time exploring the views are breathtaking!
Fruit Square
Golden Gate
Gregory of Nin

Don’t forget to rub Gregory's toe! It’s said to bring good luck. Also, check out the nearby palace area; there are some affordable restaurants where you can grab a bite!

I suggest visiting in the early morning around 8 AM. It’s much quieter then, plus the soft light makes for great photos! Later in the day, it can get pretty crowded and hot.
