Cotopaxi National Park

Pack a good lunch and plenty of water. Food options in the park can be limited and pricey so I suggest bringing a picnic to enjoy the views.
If you're planning to hike to the refuge, wear layers! The weather can change quickly. I froze halfway up because I didn't prepare for the chill.

For the best views, start your trek around 9 AM. It gets cloudy later in the day, and you might miss the stunning scenery.
Sangai National Park

I think it's worth downloading a hiking app before you go. Some trails aren't super well-marked, and having a map on hand helped me avoid going in circles a few times!
Bring your own water! It’s easy to underestimate how much you’ll need, and buying it inside can be pricey. Trust me, you don’t wanna risk dehydration while exploring all day.
Waterfall and Cunuyacu Hot Springs

i really enjoyed the hot springs, but i recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. the food options there were pretty pricey, and having some snacks saved me a lot of money

Plan to visit the waterfall in the early morning, like around 8 AM. The light was perfect for photos and the crowds were minimal, making it a more peaceful experience.
