Blue Hole

I think it’s super important to keep an eye on the currents. I got a bit too adventurous and ended up fighting against the waves. Better to be safe!
I recommend to get to Blue Hole around 8 AM, before things get too crowded and the sun gets blazing. It’s far more enjoyable when it’s a bit quieter!

You should totally bring your own snacks and water! The food options near Blue Hole are pretty limited and can be overpriced. I wish I had packed some extra energy bars.

For the best diving experience, look for local dive shops instead of big resorts. I found a small shop with great instructors and it saved me some cash!
Abu Dabbab

If you're planning to snorkel, invest in your own gear. Rentals are available, but having your own mask and snorkel makes it way more comfortable and saves time standing in line.

Make sure to bring a towel and sunscreen; the sun can be intense, and I got a bit burned because I thought I could last hours without it!”]} It helps with the enjoyment of your time in the water and keeps you comfortable while exploring this beautiful spot. Overall, just enjoy your time; there's so much beauty to catch at Abu Dabbab!

Bring some snacks and water; the nearby amenities can be a bit pricey. I learned this the hard way when I got super thirsty and had to pay a lot for a bottle!

Catch the sunset around 6:30 PM; the views are absolutely stunning! It's a perfect way to wrap up a day at the beach. Just make sure to find a good spot before it gets crowded
Orange Bay
I recommend getting there around 9 AM. It’s less crowded and you can snag the best spots on the beach for some sunbathing and swimming before everyone else arrives!
Wadi el Gemal National Park
i think it's super helpful to download a map of the park beforehand. cell service is spotty and you don't wanna get lost in the stunning desert!
I really suggest visiting during the cooler months, like November or February. Trust me, exploring in 75°F beats roasting in 100°F! Plus, it's less crowded!

My advice is to bring plenty of water. I thought I packed enough, but with the desert heat, I ended up running low way too soon.

I recommend checking the weather ahead of time. I went on a somewhat cloudy day, and it ended up pouring. It made some trails muddy and hard to navigate, so always be prepared!
Crystal Safari
Hurghada Grand Aquarium

I suggest checking out the feeding times for the sea turtles and stingrays. They were super fun to watch, and I felt like a kid again! Get there by 11:00 AM to get a good spot.

My advice is to skip the overpriced cafeteria. Bring some snacks from home instead. You can save a ton, and there's plenty of places to sit and eat around the aquarium!
The Smokery Beach

My advice is to arrive around 10 AM to grab a good spot under the umbrellas. It gets really busy by noon, and you don't want to end up baking in the sun!

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beach bars can be a bit pricey, and you'll save some cash for ice cream later. Trust me, nothing beats enjoying a cold drink while watching the waves.
Desert Breath
Mini Egypt

I recommend bringing snacks and drinks since food prices in Mini Egypt can be a bit steep. I spent way more than I expected on a sandwich. Plus, having your own stuff while walking around is super convenient.
