Padirac Cave
Try to arrive around 9 AM when the doors open. The lines can get pretty long as the day goes on, and you’ll want to make the most of your visit without the crowd.
Sunset Beach
Petit Travers Beach
Definitely check the wind conditions before you go. It can get super windy, which is great for kite surfing, but not so great if you're just trying to sunbathe!
Grand Travers Beach
I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks to the beach. The nearby cafes can be a bit pricey, and I regretted paying so much for a simple sandwich. Save that cash for something more fun!
Clamouse Cave
If you're planning to take photos keep your camera handy during the tour. Some of the coolest views pop up unexpectedly and I missed a couple because I didn't have mine out
I suggest wearing good shoes! The cave can get slippery in some spots, and I almost slipped a few times. Comfort is key here!
Beach Paulilles
Lacave Caves
I suggest booking your tickets online in advance to avoid long queues, especially during the summer. It saved me so much time!
Garden of Plants
I recommend visiting during the early morning, around 9 AM, when the light is beautiful and it's less crowded. Perfect for some great photos!
Cave Mas d'Azil
Consider bringing a light jacket. The cave can be pretty chilly even if it’s hot outside. I wasn’t prepared and kinda regretted it!
If you're on a budget, check for combo tickets with nearby attractions. I saved some cash that way, and it’s a smart way to see more of the area.
Montpellier Zoo
My advice is to visit right when the zoo opens at 9 am. It’s way less crowded, and you can see the animals more active before the heat kicks in!
