Pinel Island

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beachfront shacks can be pricey, and you'll save money this way. Plus, you can enjoy your meal with a killer view!

I recommend checking the ferry schedule in advance and plan to catch the 10 AM one. That way, you get a full day to enjoy the island before it gets crowded.
Tintamarre Island

Bring some snacks and water. I wish I had known how pricey some eateries are on the island. It saved me a bunch of cash.

Pack some sunscreen! I got burnt despite thinking I was okay. Just because the breeze feels nice, the sun can be sneaky!
Petites Cayes

I really recommend starting your hike around 8 AM. That way you beat the midday heat and get the trail mostly to yourself for some fantastic photos!

I suggest bringing a good pair of hiking shoes, trust me, the trails can get pretty rocky and slippery! You'll thank yourself later when you're not slipping around

My advice is to stock up on snacks and water before you head out. I didn't, and ended up spending more at overpriced kiosks along the way.
La Belle Creole

My advice is to get there by 8 AM to avoid the crowds. The views are way better when you have the trails to yourself in the morning light.

I suggest bringing some snacks and water because the trail can be a bit long and you might get hungry. I regretted not packing enough for the hike

I think checking the weather forecast before heading out is a must. I was caught in a sudden downpour and it made things super slippery and muddy.
