Good hiking boots are a must! The trail can get slippery, especially after rain. I wore regular sneakers once and regretted it—definitely not the best choice!

Visit in the early morning around 8 AM. It was way less crowded then which let me take some nice pictures without loads of tourists in the background.

if you're planning to take pictures, go for sunrise! the light is absolutely magical, and you'll avoid the crowds too. i missed that chance, and the afternoon glare made it hard to capture the beauty of chauki lake

I recommend starting your hike early around 7 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the sunrise... It’s breathtaking and you'll have those scenic views mostly to yourself
