my advice is to start hiking around 7 am if you can. the sunrise views are stunning, plus you’ll beat the crowds and have the trail to yourself for a while. it's totally worth it!

I suggest bringing a refillable water bottle and snacks; there are few places to buy food along the trail. Trust me, you'll want to stay energized without overpaying for convenience items.
