Neuschwanstein Castle

Try and visit during the shoulder seasons like late spring or early autumn. The weather is still great and the castle is so much less crowded than in the summer months!

If you're planning to take pictures, the best views are from the Marienbrücke bridge. Go there early in the morning before the crowds arrive for that perfect shot!

Bring some snacks and water with you. The food options are pretty limited and expensive inside the castle itself, so I suggest a little picnic.

My advice is to check the castle's website for any closures or schedule changes before you go. I ended up missing out on seeing certain areas because of maintenance.
German Museum Science and Technology

My advice is to focus on the sections that interest you most. The museum is huge, and if you try to see everything, you’ll end up feeling overwhelmed and rushed.

I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes! There's a lot of walking involved, and you'll want to enjoy the exhibits without feeling your feet ache after a couple of hours. Seriously, you'll thank me later!

I suggest getting there right when they open at 9 AM. The lines are shorter and you can avoid the crowds for a better experience. Trust me, it makes a huge difference!

I think it's worth looking into a combo ticket that includes public transport. It saved me a few euros and made getting around the city so much easier!
BMW Museum

My advice is to check if there's any special exhibition happening before you go. I found an amazing one on BMW's history that I almost missed!

If you're planning to buy souvenirs, I think you should hit up the shop at the end. You can save time by browsing while waiting for your turn at the café instead of going back later!

I learned the hard way: pack snacks or grab a quick bite outside. The café inside is decent but pricey, and I was hungry again soon after

I suggest downloading the BMW Museum app. It has a self-guided tour and extra info that really enriched my visit – way better than just wandering aimlessly!
German Museum
Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds

My advice is to wear comfy shoes! The site is huge and you’ll end up walking a lot, especially if you want to see everything.

I suggest you look for discounts online before you go. I found a combo ticket that saved me a few euros which is always a nice bonus.

I recommend checking out the multimedia exhibits; they really add depth to the experience. But maybe pay attention to the opening hours, as it can get confusing on holidays.
Munich Residence

My advice is to take a guided tour if you can. I did one, and it made a huge difference in my overall experience – I learned so much more than just wandering around!

Bring a water bottle! They don't allow food, but you’ll want to stay hydrated while exploring all those impressive rooms for hours.
If you're on a budget, consider visiting on Sundays when they have reduced admission prices. It can save you a decent amount!
Audi Museum

Keep an eye out for temporary exhibits—they sometimes have special displays that are really fascinating. I stumbled onto one about Audi's racing history that was incredible!

Arrive right when it opens at 9 AM to beat the crowds—trust me, it gets busy fast! You'll get to explore the exhibits in peace before the tour groups roll in.

I suggest grabbing lunch at the nearby restaurant before you head to the museum. The onsite café tends to be pricey and can get crowded; the local spots have tastier options.

Don't forget to check the weather before you go. If it’s nice out, take a stroll around the Audi Forum outside; there’s some cool stuff to see there too, especially the sculptures
Old Pinakothek
Pinakothek of Moderne

Don't skip the café inside! I think it has surprisingly good coffee and pastries that can refresh you during your visit without breaking the bank.

I recommend checking out the museum's website for any special events or temporary exhibitions before you go. Some of them can be really unique and worth the extra time spent!

If you're on a budget, visit on Sunday when entry is reduced or even free! It saved me some cash, and the museum wasn’t too crowded

My advice is to take your time with the film and design exhibits on the lower levels. I rushed through and feel like I missed some really thought-provoking pieces.
