I think checking out the little café nearby is worth it. They had delicious local snacks which perfectly complemented my visit to the tower!
Arch Gallery
Delphi Archaeological Museum

Grab a combo ticket for both the museum and archaeological site. It's cheaper than buying them separately and saves you hassle later on.

Make sure to check out the museum gift shop! They have some unique souvenirs and the prices are pretty reasonable compared to other tourist spots

Wear comfortable shoes! The museum has some stairs and uneven flooring, and you’ll want to be able to walk around without any pain.

Allocate at least two hours for your visit. I rushed through because I thought it was smaller, but I missed so many fascinating details.
Roman Forum
Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki

Watch out for the temporary exhibitions; they were fantastic when I visited! Plan your visit accordingly so you don't miss anything fun.

I recommend bringing a water bottle because it can get warm in there, especially during the summer months. There's a nice café if you need to take a break

If you're on a budget, consider getting the combined ticket for the museum and the nearby sites. I saved a lot by doing this!

Don’t miss the lower level with the incredible gold artifacts. It was definitely a highlight of my trip and not too many people go there right away.
Thessaloniki Archaeological Museum

Bring a water bottle! There are places to refill, and trust me, you'll want to stay hydrated while wandering through the museum.

Don’t skip the gift shop on your way out. I got some unique souvenirs that you won’t find anywhere else in Thessaloniki!

Make sure to download the museum's app! It has great audio guides and info that really enhances your experience without the need for a guide

I suggest buying your tickets online in advance to skip the queues. It saved me tons of time!
Ataturk Museum

Grab a snack before you visit! The small café nearby was pricey for mediocre food... I think it’s better to eat before you go
If you can, visit on a weekday around 2 PM. The museum was practically empty then, and I had a much calmer experience exploring

Definitely check the opening hours before you go! I went on a Sunday and it was closed for some reason. What a bummer!
Heptapyrgion of Thessalonica

My advice is to bring some water and snacks, as there aren’t many shops around. I ended up thirsty and regretting not packing a little picnic.
I suggest visiting around 9 AM... The light is perfect for photos, and you’ll beat the crowds... Trust me, it gets busy later

while the view is stunning, don’t miss the grounds! i almost skipped walking around the walls because i was too excited about the tower. take your time!

I recommend wearing comfy shoes. The paths can be a bit uneven, and you’ll want to explore every corner without worrying about your feet.
Basilica of St. Demetrius

I recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. There are fountains nearby, and you can refill. Plus, it will save you from buying overpriced drinks.

Don’t miss the crypt below the church; it's fascinating! My advice is to keep an eye out for the small entrance—it’s easy to walk right past it.

I think it's worth exploring the surrounding area after your visit; there are cute cafes and shops nearby that give a nice local vibe.
