Beaches Places Map
Beaches in Epirus:
Valtos Beach
Bella Vraka Beach
i suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks, as the beach bars can be a bit pricey. i learned this the hard way after spending way too much on a bottled water!
Blue Lagoon Βeach
Bring your own snacks and drinks to save money. The beach bars are nice, but the prices can definitely add up throughout the day!
try to get there early, around 9 am, to snag a good spot on the sand before the crowds pile in. i arrived later and it was a bit of a scramble to find a decent space.
Mega Ammos Beach
Definitely check the weather before heading out. I made the mistake of going on a cloudy day and missed out on the sunbathing experience. A sunny day can make all the difference here!
Alonaki Fanariou
I suggest getting there by 10 AM to snag the best spots on the sand. It gets crowded pretty quickly, especially on weekends.
Agia Paraskevi Beach
Lichnos Beach
If you're into water sports, try jet skiing. It's a bit pricy, but the fun is totally worth it. My advice is to bargain a little, sometimes they’re open to that!
Karavostasi Beach
i think it's a great idea to check out local food trucks for lunch instead of the restaurants close to the beach. you can find some tasty bites at better prices!
My advice is to explore the nearby coves after a swim. I stumbled upon a hidden gem, and it was much quieter and more relaxing than the main beach!
Ammoudia Beach
Check out the local tavernas for lunch instead of beach bars. I found a cozy one that served fresh seafood at half the price of the places on the sand. Yummy food.
Monolithi Beach
My advice is to explore the southern part of the beach. It's less crowded and super chill. We found a perfect spot without all the noise from the main area
