I highly recommend getting there right when the site opens at 8:00 AM. It’s way less crowded, and you can take your time exploring the ruins without the rush of other tourists.

I think you should download an app or a guide beforehand. Having some context about the structures really makes the visit more enjoyable. I found myself Googling a lot to fully appreciate what I was seeing.

If you're on a budget, grab some snacks in the town of Mycenae before heading to the site. The café near the entrance is a bit pricey, and the food options in town are much better.
