My advice is to wear flip-flops or water shoes. The sand can get really hot around midday, and trust me, you'll want something on your feet when you walk to the water.

I suggest checking out the beach bars around 4 PM for happy hour deals. We scored big on cheap cocktails and got a seat right by the sea. It was a great vibe without breaking the bank.
