Make sure to grab your lift pass online the night before! You can skip the queues in the morning - we wasted almost an hour because I didn’t do this.
Plan for about a 1-hour drive from the town center to the lifts - roads can get icy! Based on my experience, set off by 8:00 AM to enjoy a full day of fun.

I suggest packing your own lunch. The food in the ski area can be pricey, and there are some nice picnic spots where you can enjoy your food with a view.
If you’re renting gear, compare prices at different shops in Kalavrita. I made the mistake of assuming all rentals were the same and ended up paying way more than I needed to.

Take the chairlift up and try different routes down. At first, I stuck to one area and missed a lot of fun paths. Discover the mountain's hidden gems.
Check the weather a few days before your trip. I thought it would be snowy, but it was slushy. I wish I had brought waterproof gear. Avoid looking like a wet dog!
If you're renting gear, do it before the weekend rush. I suggest going Friday morning when things are quieter. You'll save time and have better choices!
Bring your own lunch and snacks! The food at the lodge is okay, but overpriced. I packed a sandwich and some snacks and was way happier.
