Bring a small waterproof bag for your valuables. I noticed some lockers were a bit cramped. A bag can easily fit into the larger ones and keeps your stuff secure.

My advice is to try the thermal water first, then cool off in the bigger pools. It feels amazing to alternate between the hot and cold waters, trust me!

Don't miss the boating on the lake! It's super peaceful and affordable. Just make sure to check the weather beforehand so you don’t get stuck in a rain shower.

Bring a blanket and some snacks if you can! There’s nothing like having a little picnic while people-watching in such a lovely park setting.

if you want some stunning photos, head to the vajdahunyad castle at golden hour—around 6 pm. the lighting is amazing for pictures, and it’s less busy by then.

I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. The park is more extensive than it looks, and you'll want to walk around without worrying about blisters.

Pack some snacks or a light meal. The food options inside can be pricey and not the best, so a little picnic by the pool could make your visit more enjoyable.

Don't forget to bring your own towel and flip-flops! It’ll save you some cash since they charge for rentals... Plus, having your own stuff is always a good feeling

I suggest getting the all-day pass. It might seem like a splurge initially, but you’ll want to take your time soaking in all those different pools, trust me!

If you want to beat the crowds, try going on a weekday right when they open at 9 am. It's way quieter, and you can really enjoy the place without bumping into too many people.

Honestly, get there early! I arrived around 9 AM and had the place almost to myself. It gets super crowded by noon. More quiet and a better vibe that early in the day!

My advice is to bring flip flops! The floor can get slippery, and it saves you from a potential wipeout. Plus, it's nice to have them between pools.

I suggest bringing your own towel instead of renting one. It’s a bit pricey, and if you’re traveling light, you can easily stuff a quick-dry towel in your bag

I recommend checking the temperature of the pools before jumping in, 'cause some can be a shock! Just take your time and ease into it to really enjoy the hot springs.

If you're looking to save a bit of cash, consider bringing your own snacks or a picnic – there are plenty of nice spots to sit and enjoy the greenery. I did this and it made the experience much more relaxing

Watch for the public events in the park; I accidentally found an outdoor concert. It was a fun surprise, and didn’t cost anything!

check out the local street art nearby. i stumbled upon some awesome murals just a short walk away from the square – definitely worth a look for some great photos!

If you're into coffee, pop into a nearby café instead of the big chains. I found a cozy little place with great brews and it was way more charming.

I think you should set aside at least 2-3 hours for your visit. I ended up rushing through at first because I didn’t plan enough time, but there’s just so much to see.

user avatar
Tyler December 21, 2024

I suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 am. The morning is way less crowded, and you can enjoy the exhibits without the throngs of people. Trust me, it makes a big difference!

user avatar
Margaret December 17, 2024

My advice is to bring some snacks. The cafe prices can be a bit steep, and you might not want to spend too much on food when you're just stopping for a quick bite.
