bring a reusable water bottle. there are plenty of natural water sources, and i wish i had saved some cash on buying bottled water. also, it’s a nice way to stay eco-friendly while enjoying the scenery.

Don’t rush through the park. I thought I'd see everything in one day, but a planned 3-day visit would have been better. Pop by the visitor center for tips on trails based on your time

Wear good hiking boots! I didn't, and ended up slipping on some ice. I recommend sturdy, waterproof shoes to make the most of your time exploring without worrying about your footing.

My advice is to wear sturdy shoes. I wore sneakers and regretted it! Some areas can be muddy or rocky, so good footwear makes a huge difference.

I think it’s worth spending extra time to explore the area around the waterfall. There are beautiful views from different angles, and you might just discover a hidden viewpoint.

If you can, aim to visit around 10 AM. The crowds aren't as bad then, and you'll get some great photos without tons of people in the shot.

I suggest bringing snacks and water since the hike can get pretty tiring. There's nowhere to buy food on the way, and trust me, you'll want to recharge when you reach the waterfall!

My advice is to wear proper hiking boots. The trail can get slippery and muddy, especially after rain. Save yourself some trouble and invest in decent footwear!

I suggest going early in the morning around 8 AM, you’ll have the place to yourself for some great photos and peace. Just don't forget your drip-dry gear, you might get splashed.

I found the best time to visit Stokksnes is around 7 PM during the summer months. The lighting is incredible for photos, plus it’s less crowded! Just pack some snacks since there are limited facilities nearby.

Don't forget to bring cash for the entrance fee! I almost forgot and had to scramble to find an ATM. Also, a good pair of walking shoes will make exploring the dunes and Black Mountains way more enjoyable
