Glymur Waterfall

If you're heading there, try to arrive by 9 AM. We found fewer crowds and got some amazing photos without a bunch of people in the background. Plus, it’s easier to find parking then!

I suggest wearing good hiking boots! The trails can get slippery, especially near the waterfall, and you definitely don't want to take a tumble. Trust me, it happened to a couple near us, and it wasn't pretty!
Snaefellsjokull Glacier

Think about renting crampons ahead of time, especially if you’re not an experienced hiker. They made a huge difference on the icy parts, plus they’re not too expensive!

My advice is to check the weather report in advance. It can change quickly, and I got caught in a sudden downpour, which was cool but not the best for photos!
Latrabjarg

Pack snacks and water; there are no facilities up there. I ended up rushing my hike because I didn’t bring enough food, and it ruined my chill vibe.

Definitely bring layers! The weather changes super quickly, and I was caught in a surprise cold wind. I suggest a waterproof jacket and warm hat just in case.

Hreppslaug
I recommend visiting Hreppslaug in the late afternoon around 5 PM. It's way less crowded then and you can enjoy the peaceful scenery without all the noise. Trust me it made the whole experience so much better!
