Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall
Krauma Spa

I suggest visiting Krauma in the morning around 9 AM. It's way less crowded then, and you can really soak in the views without people bumping into you

Pro tip: grab your towel and robe from home! They charge extra for rentals, so bring your own to save some cash.

My advice is to try out the steam baths first before hitting the hot springs. It really helps to relax your muscles and makes the experience more enjoyable.
Bruarfoss Waterfall

I think bringing snacks and water can save you money since there aren't many shops around. It's nice to take a break and refuel while enjoying the view!

I suggest downloading offline maps because cell service can be spotty near the waterfall. I spent a good 30 minutes wandering before I found the right path!

I recommend going early, like around 8am, to beat the crowds and get those perfect photos. The lighting is amazing too!
Djupalonssandur

If you're into photography I recommend bringing a zoom lens if you have one. There are some great close-up shots of the unique rock formations and birds that you won’t want to miss!

My advice is to wear sturdy shoes! The terrain can be rocky and uneven, so flip-flops just won’t cut it. I learned that the hard way when I struggled over the pebbles.

You might want to pack a light lunch and some snacks... The nearest restaurant is a bit of a drive away, and sitting by the beach with your own food feels more special anyway
Glymur Waterfall

If you're heading there, try to arrive by 9 AM. We found fewer crowds and got some amazing photos without a bunch of people in the background. Plus, it’s easier to find parking then!

I suggest wearing good hiking boots! The trails can get slippery, especially near the waterfall, and you definitely don't want to take a tumble. Trust me, it happened to a couple near us, and it wasn't pretty!
Snaefellsjokull Glacier

My advice is to check the weather report in advance. It can change quickly, and I got caught in a sudden downpour, which was cool but not the best for photos!
Hraunfossar Waterfall

I suggest wearing good hiking shoes, as the paths can get a bit slippery. I made the mistake of wearing flip-flops, and it wasn't fun.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The café nearby can be a bit pricey, and it's nice to enjoy a picnic while soaking in the views.
Ljosufjoll
Tungnafellsjokull

My advice is to explore the area around Tungnafellsjokull after the glacier – there are stunning landscapes that aren't super crowded, and you’ll want those Insta shots!

Here’s a cool tip: pack a packed lunch! There aren't many places nearby for food, and enjoying a meal with that icy view was the highlight of my day.

I recommend checking the weather before you go. It can change super fast! One minute it’s sunny, and the next you’re caught in a snowstorm. I got drenched, and it wasn't fun!
Gudrunarlaug

If you can, try to visit early in the morning around 9 AM. I found it way less crowded, and you can really soak in the peaceful vibe before the tour buses roll in. Trust me, you'll enjoy the tranquility way more
