Gokarna Main Beach

I think it’s best to avoid weekends if you can. The crowd can get overwhelming, and it’s much more relaxed on weekdays.

i recommend bringing your own water and snacks, as beach vendors can be a bit overpriced and not always reliable.

My advice is to check out the local eateries. You’ll find super affordable meals that are way more authentic than the touristy spots.

I suggest taking a walk along the beach during the sunrise. It's just breathtaking and way less crowded than later in the day.
Jog Falls
Shivanasamudra

While there, don’t miss the viewpoint on the opposite side of the river... The view is stunning! But be prepared for a short hike and some uneven terrain... I think it's worth it!

I really suggest visiting the falls early in the morning like around 7 AM when the light is perfect for photos and the crowd is way smaller. Trust me it makes a huge difference!

I recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you'll do a bit of walking, and some areas can be slippery. I'm not kidding, I almost slipped and fell at one point!
Om Beach
check out the local beach shacks for fresh seafood at lunch; i found some hidden gems that were way cheaper than the fancy restaurants nearby.

Sunsets at Om Beach are breathtaking. I suggest heading there around 5:30 PM to grab a good spot before it gets crowded.

Make sure to wear flip-flops! The sand can get super hot around noon, and trust me, you don't want to be running back to your towel barefoot.

If you're looking to do some yoga, there are plenty of classes offered at the beach in the mornings. I recommend booking ahead if you have a specific instructor in mind.
Paradise Beach

I suggest checking the tide times before you go. During high tide, some parts of the beach can get pretty narrow, which might limit your space to relax.

Don’t forget to bring cash! Some of the beach shacks don’t accept cards, and it’s always better to have some local currency on hand for any unexpected purchases.

If you can, try to get to Paradise Beach by around 8 AM. The sunrise is breathtaking, and you'll avoid the midday heat, plus the beach is way less crowded in the morning
Deva Samudra Beach Stay
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks, as local cafes can be a bit pricey. There are plenty of lovely spots along the beach to set up a little picnic.
