Amber Fort
I suggest starting your visit around 8 AM to beat the crowds and get some stunning photos without too many people in the background. It feels magical in the early morning light!
Hawa Mahal
Merangar Fort
Consider hiring an audio guide. I thought I could skip it, but once I started exploring, I wished I had all that historical context.
Nahargar Fort
City Palace
James and Gevelry
If you're really into architecture, look for a local guide; they can share stories that you wouldn't find in any guidebook. I had an awesome experience and learned a ton.
don’t forget to try the local street food near the entrance! it’s super delicious and cheap. just don’t go overboard if you’re not used to spicy food!
I suggest bargaining when shopping for jewelry. Many vendors are open to negotiation, and I saved a bit of cash by not accepting the first price they offered.
Jagar Fort
Umaid Bhawan Palace
Jal Mahal Palace
Akshardham Temple
Bring some snacks and water! The food inside is pretty pricey and I'm not sure it's worth it... Plus, you'll want to have your energy up for exploring
Wear comfy shoes! There’s a lot of walking, and uneven paths can wear you out. I ended up with sore feet after my visit, so avoid my mistake!
Don’t forget your camera, but be aware that professional cameras have fees. I made that mistake and had to pay to get mine in. Just a heads up!
