Parks in Tamil Nadu:
Semmozai Punga
Check out the local food stalls outside for some authentic Chennai street food. I tried the dosas and they were amazing and so much cheaper than restaurant prices!
Don't miss the small lake area; it's serene and perfect for some quiet time. I nearly overlooked it but ended up loving it there!
Anna Tower
Gwindi National Park
I suggest planning your visit on a weekday rather than the weekend. It was way quieter then, and I could really relax and enjoy the beauty.
My advice is to take a guided nature walk if possible. I did this, and it was super informative and enjoyable, plus I spotted birds I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise.
I recommend wearing comfy shoes! The trails can get a bit tricky and you'll want to explore without worrying about sore feet.
Panagal Park
If you like photography, go for the late afternoon light around 5 PM. The park looks amazing then, and you’ll get some gorgeous sunset shots.
I suggest visiting Panagal Park in the early morning, around 7 AM. It’s super peaceful then, and you get to enjoy the greenery without the crowd. Trust me, you’ll appreciate the calm vibe!
