Batu Bolong Beach
If you're planning to surf, I suggest renting a board from a local shop instead of the beach vendors. It's usually cheaper and the boards are in better condition!
Be prepared for the sand to get hot around noon! I wish I had brought flip flops instead of walking barefoot, it was a bit uncomfortable.
I think you should take a stroll along the beach to the left... There's a quieter part with fewer crowds and it's perfect for some peaceful sunbathing
Kuta Beach
Try getting a local SIM card when you get to the airport. It's a lifesaver for navigation and communication, and you can find great deals if you shop around a bit!
Uluwatu Beach
If you’re looking to rent a board, check around instead of just the first rental shop. Prices can vary a lot, and some places offer better gear for cheaper!
Virgin Beach
Berawa Beach
Sanur
Sanur
I suggest checking out the beach early in the morning around 7 AM. The sunrise is gorgeous, and you avoid the crowds and heat
Bring some local currency for small purchases like snacks or water. Many beach vendors and small shops might not accept cards.
If you’re into water sports, ask for bundled deals at the beach. Negotiating can save you some cash compared to fixed prices.
Padang Beach
I think you should bring a good camera or GoPro. The cliffs and ocean views are stunning, and I wished I had more quality pics from my trip
My advice is to wear water shoes. The rocky parts can be tricky, and they really saved my feet from sharp edges.
Jimbaran Beach
If you want to enjoy a less crowded experience, I think visiting on a weekday is the way to go. Weekends get really busy and it takes away from the relaxing vibe!
I recommend you go to Jimbaran Beach during sunset. The view is absolutely stunning and you'll get amazing photos. Plus, the atmosphere turns magical with all the candlelight dining on the beach.
Dreamland Beach
Don’t forget your water shoes! The rocky parts of the beach can be a bit tricky, and it’s no fun stepping on sharp rocks. Trust me, I learned it the hard way.
