Padar Island
Bring plenty of water and snacks, especially if you're planning to hike the trails. I thought I could get by with just a bottle, but I ended up feeling pretty drained!

Don't forget your camera. The views from the top are insane and you'll want to capture those moments. I missed some good shots because my phone was about to die, so charge it well.

I suggest wearing good hiking shoes; trust me, the trek can be a bit rocky in parts. I wore flip-flops and regretted it big time halfway up!
Wae Rebo Village

I think you should pack a light raincoat. The weather can change fast, and I got drenched because I wasn't prepared. You'll enjoy the hike way more if you're dry!

I recommend starting your trek early, like around 6 AM, to beat the heat and enjoy the stunning sunrise views. The trail is beautiful in the morning light!
My advice is to bring cash. Some villagers sell handicrafts that you can't miss, but they only take cash, so make sure to have enough on hand!
Mount Kelimutu

Bring some snacks and water because options up there are limited and can be pricey. I learned the hard way and ended up a bit grumpy!
