Sempione Park

If you have time, take a stroll to the nearby Castello Sforzesco. It’s just a few minutes walk and offers some amazing views and history.

I think visiting during weekdays is better. The park feels way more relaxed than on weekends, plus you’ll have more space to chill.

If you can, visit around 8 am to enjoy the quiet before the crowds roll in. It’s the perfect time to take beautiful photos without people everywhere.

Check out the little petting zoo near the castle. It's not huge but totally cute and my kids loved it! It was a nice surprise.
Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli

I suggest visiting on a weekday; weekends can get a bit crowded, making it harder to relax and enjoy the greenery.

Don’t skip the Natural History Museum right next door; it's a short visit but a great addition to your park day. Plus, check if there’s a discount combo ticket!

Grab a gelato from a nearby cafe before you enter; it's perfect for enjoying while you stroll through the park!

Look for the little free art exhibits scattered throughout the gardens; they’re a nice surprise and add to the experience
Vittoriale degli Italiani

If you're into photography, try to catch the golden hour just before sunset. The lighting is stunning in the gardens and the views of Lake Garda are breathtaking.

Start your visit right when they open at 9 AM to beat the crowds, especially during peak season. It makes a huge difference when exploring the gardens and the exhibits in peace

Wear comfy shoes! The park is sprawling with lots of walking, and some areas have uneven paths. Trust me, you'll enjoy it a lot more when your feet aren't killing you.

Grab a guided audio tour if you're a history buff. I thought the extra few euros were worth it to dive deeper into the life of D'Annunzio and the history of the place.
Upper Garda Bresciano Park

I suggest bringing a reusable water bottle; you'll find fountains along the trails, so you can refill and save some bucks on buying drinks.

If you're into hiking, pack some snacks and hit the trails around 8 AM to avoid the crowds and catch the stunning morning views. Trust me, it's worth it!
Idroscalo
Parco di Val Sozzine

If you're planning to hike, I suggest hitting the trails early in the morning around 7:30 AM. It gets crowded later, and you'll enjoy the peacefulness of nature better!
Teresio Olivelli Park
Parco Callas Arena

My advice is to grab some snacks or a picnic before entering. The cafés inside can be pricey, and you’ll want to enjoy a little picnic while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Punta Gro

Bring your own snacks and drinks! There's not much around the park for food and it can get pricey, so having a little picnic saved us some cash and made the day more fun.
I recommend visiting Punta Gro in the late afternoon around 4 PM when the light is perfect for photos and the crowds start to thin out. Trust me, it makes a big difference!
