My advice is to grab a gelato from a local shop nearby after your visit. It's a great way to unwind and enjoy the city ambiance!

If you want to beat the crowds, try visiting on a Tuesday morning around 10 AM. I went later in the day and it was packed!

I suggest grabbing a snack from the cafe instead of venturing into the city before your visit... Prices there are totally reasonable and it saves time

If you're planning to take photos, go around 5 PM for that golden hour light. The views are stunning and less crowded then. Seriously, it makes a big difference.

If you're into architecture, don’t rush your visit! Take your time around the square; I think an hour is good to just admire the buildings and snap some photos without feeling hurried.

Watch out for the street performers! Some can be really good, but I recommend double-checking if they pass the hat afterwards to avoid awkward situations.

Grab a quick breakfast or coffee from nearby cafes before your visit. It helps fuel your exploration, and you'll have the energy to soak it all in without rushing.

Watch the sunset from the nearby hills after your visit. The view of the church against the sunset is absolutely stunning. It was the highlight of my day!

If you can, visit early in the morning, around 9 AM. It's way less crowded, and you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere without any distractions. I got some great photos without all the people in the way!

Bring a small change for candles if you’d like to light one. It’s a lovely way to partake in the local tradition and it adds a nice touch to your visit.
