Egyptian Museum

plan to spend at least 2-3 hours—there's so much to see! i thought i could rush through in an hour, and i ended up missing a lot of cool stuff.

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can, it's way less crowded and you can really take your time soaking in the exhibits. I went on a Saturday and it was packed!

If you’re on a budget, check if there’s a student discount or free entry on certain days. I saved a nice chunk of change that way!

My advice is to grab the audio guide. It’s super informative and helped me understand the context behind the artifacts much better. Totally worth the small extra fee!
Mole Antonelliana

Try to visit during the week if you can. I went on a Saturday, and it was super crowded, which made it hard to enjoy everything fully.

Don't forget to explore the small museum inside! I almost skipped it, but it was really interesting and worth the time.

If you're a fan of photography, aim to be up top by 6 PM. The sunset over Turin is stunning and you’ll get some great shots!

I suggest buying your tickets online ahead of time. I waited in line for almost 30 minutes, but skipping that would have been a lifesaver!
National Cinema Museum
Piazza San Carlo
Medieval Village

Consider downloading a walking tour app before you visit. The historical info made my experience so much richer, and some apps even have offline options to save data!
If you plan to grab a bite, try the local eateries, but skip the overpriced ones near the entrance. I found a quaint tavern just a bit further in that had fantastic, reasonably priced meals.

I recommend checking out the artisan shops. You might find unique gifts and souvenirs that aren't in the tourist traps. I found some handmade jewelry that was a hit back home.

I suggest visiting the Medieval Village during the weekdays, especially on Wednesday or Thursday. It's way less crowded and you can really soak in the ambiance without fighting for space.
National Automobile Museum

Check out the audio guide! It adds so much context and detail to the exhibits, plus it keeps you engaged while walking through the museum.

If you have a car, parking can be tricky. Look for nearby garages rather than street parking—much easier and more convenient.

Don’t miss the rooftop terrace! The views of the city and the surrounding mountains are stunning, and it's a nice place to take a break
Porta Palazzo
Check out the beautiful architecture while you shop; take some time to pause and appreciate the lovely buildings around the market area. It’s a great photo op!

Dress comfortably and wear good shoes. You'll be wandering around quite a bit, and the cobblestone streets can be hard on the feet

Bring some cash! Many vendors only take cash payments, and it's easier to haggle and make small purchases at the market that way.

Try to visit on a Saturday morning; that's when the market is most vibrant and bustling with local vendors. It's an experience you won't want to miss!
Venarius Royal Palace

I recommend bringing a small snack and some water. The cafes inside can be a bit pricey, and you’ll want to refuel while wandering around.

Definitely grab an audio guide—it really brings the palace’s history to life. I thought I'd skip it but regreted not getting one sooner!

Some areas have limited access, so check the map at the entrance. I missed parts of the gardens which were beautiful. Plan ahead!

I think it's worth spending some time in the gardens—grab a bench to relax! I rushed past and missed such a nice spot to unwind.
Superga

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. The walk up can be a bit steep, and you'll want to explore the grounds without sore feet. Trust me, I learned the hard way!

I suggest grabbing a snack from the cafe instead of venturing into the city before your visit... Prices there are totally reasonable and it saves time

If you're planning to take photos, go around 5 PM for that golden hour light. The views are stunning and less crowded then. Seriously, it makes a big difference.
Statuto Square

My advice is to visit during the late afternoon, like around 5 PM. That's when the golden light hits the buildings and makes for some stunning pics without the morning crowds.
I suggest grabbing a coffee at one of the local cafes before you start your exploring. The vibe is chill, and it's the perfet way to soak in the atmosphere.

If you're into architecture, don’t rush your visit! Take your time around the square; I think an hour is good to just admire the buildings and snap some photos without feeling hurried.

Watch out for the street performers! Some can be really good, but I recommend double-checking if they pass the hat afterwards to avoid awkward situations.
