Pini Beach

My advice is to grab a spot near the water by 9 AM to secure a good sunbathing spot. By 10, it felt crowded and some were left without space!

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks, because the beach bars can get pricey. I ended up spending way more than I expected just on a couple of drinks.

If you’re planning to rent a sunbed, I recommend doing it early in the morning. They tend to sell out fast, especially on weekends, and you don’t want to be left with just a towel!

Don't forget to bring water shoes! The pebbles can be a bit tough on the feet, and I wish I had remembered to bring mine. It would have made walking around so much easier!
Torbole Beach

I suggest checking out the local markets in the morning for cheap snacks before hitting the beach. I found a spot that sold fresh fruit for a great price, and it was perfect for a beach picnic.

I think if you want a quieter spot, try heading to the beach around 4 PM. It gets less crowded and you can really enjoy the sunset without all the noise.

My advice is to rent a bike instead of driving. It was way more fun and you can explore the beautiful lakeside paths without the hassle of finding parking.
Lungolago Beach

Check out the nearby trails for a hike after your beach day. Just a short walk from the beach, and you end the day with amazing views of Lake Garda without needing to drive anywhere.

Parking can be a hassle. If you have some flexibility, try to park along the streets a bit further from the beach. It's usually free and just a nice walk away.
Lizards Beach

My advice is to find a spot on the left side of the beach. It’s usually less crowded and you get a great view of the sunset! Bring a light jacket for later on, it gets a bit chilly.

i suggest grabbing a gelato from one of the shops nearby before heading to the beach! it was a perfect treat and didn’t break the bank. just make sure to try the local flavors, they're amazing!
Sabbioni Beach

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks to save some cash, because the beachside cafes can be a bit pricey. I made that mistake and ended up spending way more than I planned!
Spiaggia Porfina

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks, as the beach cafe can be a bit pricey and the options are limited. It'll save you some money and you can enjoy your own food by the lovely lakeside.

If you're planning to swim, go early in the morning around 8 AM. The water is calmer and much more refreshing, plus you’ll have the beach almost to yourself before the crowds arrive!
