SAIO Wine Shop Agricultural Company
Arnaldo Caprai Agricultural Company
If you can, visit on a weekday. I found it much quieter and more personal, which made for a better experience chatting with the staff and learning about the wines.
Don't skip the vineyard tour! The views are stunning, and you learn so much about the winemaking process that you won't get just from the tasting. It’s totally worth it.
Cantina Dionigi
If you're driving, watch out for the gravel road leading to the winery – it's a bit bumpy. Just take it slow or you might miss the turn!
I recommend asking about their local cheese pairings. They were surprisingly good and really enhanced the wine flavors. Don’t miss out on that experience!
Antonelli San Marco
I think the food pairings with the wines are a must-try. They really enhance the experience! Plus, getting a platter to share is way more budget-friendly than individual plates.
If you’re planning to do a tasting, I recommend booking it in advance. We walked in and had to wait a bit, which was a bummer. Would've saved time if we reserved first.
Tenuta Castelbuono Winery
I suggest booking your tasting in advance, especially on weekends. It can get super busy, and you don't want to miss out on the experience like I almost did!
Try to join one of the vineyard tours— being out in the grape fields was the highlight for me. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes because the terrain can get a bit rough!
If you're planning to buy wine, check their current promotions. I saved some cash by grabbing a couple of bottles on sale that day!
Azienda Agraria Scacciadiavoli of Pambuffetti
La Veneranda Winery
Madrevite
Make sure to explore the vineyard itself! I missed the chance to stroll through the rows of grapes because I didn't ask about it. Next time, I’ll prioritize that.
