Monte Baldo
My advice is to check the weather before heading up. The temperature can drop unexpectedly, so layering up is a must! I ended up a bit cold and regretted not bringing a jacket.
If you're planning to hike, bring snacks and plenty of water. Some trails can be surprisingly long, and I found myself running low on energy and options!
I think visiting during the shoulder seasons, like late April or early October, is best. The views are breathtaking, and the crowds are way smaller compared to summer.
I suggest getting the cable car tickets online in advance. It saves you a bunch of time and avoids the long queues, especially on weekends. I learned this the hard way!
Dolomites
Biennale Gardens
I think you should explore the lesser-known pavilions too. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the smaller exhibits compared to the big ones!
Braccobaldo Beach
My advice is to get there by 10 AM to secure a good spot on the sand. Trust me, it fills up fast and you don’t want to end up in the back.
Paduan Botanical Garden
I think taking a picnic is a great idea. There are lovely spots to chill out, and it's way cheaper than picking up snacks at the park.
my advice is to wear comfy shoes! the paths can get a bit uneven and you'll want to wander without worrying about your feet killing you!
Giusti's Garden
Baia delle Sirene Park
My advice is to bring snacks and water because the on-site café is a bit overpriced and can get packed. I ended up waiting forever for a sandwich.
I suggest you get there around 9 AM to snag a good parking spot and avoid the crowd. It really fills up fast! Trust me, you won't regret it.
Baitone Beach
A Rocky Beach
My advice is to head there around 5 PM for the sunset. The views are absolutely stunning, and you'll beat the midday crowd. Just make sure to grab your spot early, as it gets popular fast!
