Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

Bring a good pair of headphones for the audio guide. It really makes the experience more immersive, and I wished I had mine instead of renting.

I think it's worth spending a bit more for the donation ticket. The extra few hundred yen goes towards maintaining the museum and I felt good about contributing.

If you're looking for a place to eat, there's a nice cafe just outside the museum. The food was decent and it was a great place to reflect after the emotional visit.

Buy your tickets in advance online to save time. The queues can get really long, especially on weekends.
Adachi Museum of Art

If you want the best photos, go in the early morning around 9 AM when the sunlight is perfect for capturing the beauty of the scenery without too many people in the way.

Don’t skip the tea house in the garden! I think it's a nice place to relax and enjoy a cup of matcha with a view, it really adds to the whole experience.

Plan to spend at least 3 hours here. I thought I could rush through it, but ended up wishing I had more time to soak it all in. Take your time!
The Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology

I found that buying the combo ticket for the museum and the Toyota factory tour saved me a lot of cash. It was so worth it compared to buying them separately.

Make sure to take advantage of the free guided tours that are available. I got a ton of insights which made the experience so much richer than just wandering around.
If you're into photography, don’t miss the outdoor area in the late afternoon light. The machines look amazing with the warm glow and you'll get great shots!
Scmaglev and Railway Park

Don't forget to check out the flight simulator experience; it's such a fun way to feel like you're really traveling on a Shinkansen! Just be prepared for a small extra fee.

Make sure to try and catch the demo runs of the Shinkansen trains. It’s super cool to see them in action, and the schedule is on their website, so plan around that!

If you’re planning to buy souvenirs, look for the discount bundles near the exit. I got so much more value than when I picked things out individually!

My advice is to grab a bento box from a nearby convenience store before you go in. They don't have a lot of food options inside, and I regretted not being prepared!
The Sand Museum

Don’t forget sunscreen, especially if you're visiting in summer. There’s not much shade, and you don’t want to end up with a burn halfway through your visit!

I recommend visiting around 9 AM or right when they open. It gets busier later, and you'll want to enjoy the art without too many people photobombing your pics

I think you should bring some snacks or a light lunch. The food options around the museum are kinda limited and pricey, so save your money for souvenirs instead!

I suggest checking for specific sand sculpture exhibitions online before you go. I missed a seasonal showcase, and it looked amazing from the pictures I saw afterward!
