I think you should bring your own snacks and water. The prices at the visitor center are pretty high compared to what you get at a local store, and you'll want to stay energized while exploring the caves!

I suggest wearing good walking shoes! The cave can get slippery and some parts are a bit tricky to navigate. I almost slipped once, and it would have been a bummer to get hurt before seeing the beautiful formations.

Check the surf conditions before you go! I didn’t realize how strong the waves could get in the afternoon. I suggest hitting the waves in the morning instead!
