Salt Pans

I recommend chatting with the salt pan workers. They are super friendly and share cool stories about the history. It really added to my experience!

Keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife. I think I saw more birds than I expected. Bring binoculars if you're into birdwatching.

You know, pack some snacks and water! The area is so peaceful, that you might want to hang out longer, and there’s not a cafe around to grab a bite
Ghasri Valley
Sanap Cliffs
Inland Sea Dive Site
Tal-Mixta Cave
Hondoq the Pomegranate

If you're into swimming I'd suggest bringing some water shoes. The rocky areas can be slippery and I wish I had them to avoid a few bumps and bruises.

My advice is to explore beyond the beach! The surrounding nature is beautiful and there are nice paths for walking. It's a nice break from sunbathing

Definitely pack some snacks and drinks, 'cause there aren't many places to grab food. I found a lovely shaded spot but had to trek to get some munchies later, which eat up some time.
Santa Maria Bay

If you're planning to rent sunbeds, try to get there around 10 AM to snag a good spot. They fill up fast, especially on weekends!
Santa Maria Caves

Definitely bring a pair of water shoes! The rocks can be slippery and painful to walk on without them. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
Gozo Inland Sea

If you're looking to dive, check the weather conditions in advance. I missed out on a great dive because the winds changed last minute—kinda bumming!

Don't rush your visit. Spend some time just chilling by the water. I found a great local spot for a snack nearby that was way cheaper than the cafes.
