Top Mountains in Port Louis District

I highly recommend checking the weather beforehand. If there's a chance of rain, skip it! The trails can get super slippery, and I learned that the hard way after getting muddy.

Don't forget to wear good hiking shoes! I wore flip-flops to the beach nearby before and struggled a ton on the rocky terrain. Lesson learned: comfortable footwear is key!

for stunning views and fewer crowds, try to hit the peak by 7 am. the sunrise is to die for and the earlier you go, the cooler it is! trust me, it's worth waking up early

If you want to save some cash, bring your own snacks and drinks. There aren't many places to buy food once you're hiking around Lemorn Brabant. I wish I had packed more!
