Malecon Playa Hermosa

Bring cash! A lot of the local food stalls and parking only take cash, and I ended up searching for an ATM, which wasted like 30 minutes.

Check the surf report before heading out! I found it swells to be perfect around 9 AM on weekdays. Helps you avoid the crowds and get the best waves.

Consider renting a surfboard rather than buying. There are some great local shops near the beach that offer rentals for way cheaper than buying one.

Watch out for the tide changes. I got caught once and had to haul my gear back up the beach, which was a pain. Just check the tide times in advance!
Baja Paintball - Santa Fe

My advice is to book online in advance. I saved some money that way and got a better time slot compared to walk-ins.

Don’t forget to bring your own snacks and drinks! The prices on-site were pretty high, and having some snacks on hand made breaks much better

I recommend getting there around 10 AM to avoid the crowds. It was way more chill and we got to play more games without waiting forever
Flyers Trampoline Park

Heads up: the socks you must wear are $4 extra. Bring your own if you have them! I didn't realize that and ended up spending more than I planned.

I suggest buying tickets online before you go. It saved me a ton of time at the entrance and sometimes they have discounts. I missed out on that, and it was a bummer.

My advice is to go after 5 PM. It gets way less crowded then, and I had so much more fun jumping around without bumping into too many people.

Check out their deals for groups or parties; we saw a sign about it while I was waiting in line. We could’ve saved a lot on our tickets if we’d known in advance!

Rosarito Beach

If you're into surfing, rent your boards a little off the beach. I found a place called Surf Camp that had better rates than the beach rentals. Plus, the staff was super friendly and gave me great tips on the best spots to catch some waves.

Don't skip the local taco stands! I found some amazing places just a few blocks from the beach where you can eat like a local for a fraction of the price you’d pay at touristy restaurants. Trust me, the fish tacos will blow your mind!
