Zocalo

Plan to check out the Zocalo in the evening around 7 PM. The lights really create a magical atmosphere, and you'll probably catch some live music or performances too!

Try to visit Zocalo on a weekday if you can. It gets super crowded on weekends, and I found it much easier to enjoy the architecture and snap pics without a ton of people in the way.

I suggest bringing a camera with a good zoom. You’ll want to capture the beautiful details of the buildings – they’re stunning!

Don't skip the small food stalls around the Zocalo. The quesadillas I tried were amazing and way cheaper than in the fancy restaurants nearby.
Santa Prisca
Diana the Huntress
Chapel of Peace
Former Convent of San Bernardino of Siena
Our Lady of Solitude Cathedral

I recommend going on a weekday around 10 am when it's less crowded. You can really take your time enjoying the beautiful architecture without feeling rushed. Plus, the morning light makes for awesome photos!

Don't skip the little shops nearby! I found some great local crafts that were super affordable. My advice is to haggle a bit – you might score a better deal!
Temple of Chavarrieta in Taxco

I suggest visiting the Temple of Chavarrieta around 9 AM to enjoy the peace and quiet before it gets crowded. The morning light also makes for better photos!

If you want a great view, head to the terrace towards the back of the temple. I almost missed it and was so glad I found it as the sunset views are stunning
Former Hacienda del Chorrillo

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. It was way less crowded when I went, and I could take my time exploring without worrying about bumping into others all the time
