I suggest visiting in the late afternoon, around 5 PM, when the weather is super nice and the park is less crowded. You can enjoy a nice sunset too!
Don’t forget your sunscreen! I didn’t realize how strong the sun would be, and I ended up catching a bit of a burn - oops!

Try to check if there are any events or concerts happening while you’re there. I found out after my visit that there were some cool live shows on the weekends
Los Muertos Beach Pier

If you're looking to save some cash, try the local food stalls just a short walk from the pier. The tacos and elotes are delicious and way cheaper than the fancy sit-down places

I suggest visiting the pier around sunset—around 6 PM—for the best views and some stunning photo ops. Plus, you can grab a bite at one of the beachside restaurants afterwards befor it gets too busy.

My advice is to wear water shoes. The beach can get a bit rocky, especially if you go for a swim. It made things a lot easier for me and I wish I had brought mine!
I think it's a good idea to bring a towel and some snacks. The beach can get crowded, and it's nice to have a cozy place to chill without buying expensive beachside items.
Punta Mita

Don't skip on the street tacos; they're delicious and way cheaper than dining in fancy restaurants. I found some amazing spots that only locals know about.

Consider renting a car; it saves you a lot of cash on taxis and gives you the freedom to explore nearby towns like Sayulita or San Pancho... Trust me, it opens up your options!

Pack some snorkeling gear if you're into it; the underwater life around the beaches is stunning and renting gear can get pricey. I regretted not bringing mine!

Make sure to check out the sunset at Punta Mita beach around 6 PM. It's absolutely breathtaking and will make for amazing photos—the colors are something else!
Bosque Los Colomos

There's a short walking trail that goes around the park, I recommend taking that route for a nice view. It’s super chill!

I found the parking situation a bit chaotic during weekends. Try to get there before 9 AM to secure a spot easily.

Don’t forget your camera. The lush greenery is so beautiful, plus you can spot some local wildlife. I regret not taking more pics while I was there.
Mina of Eden
Acuario Michin

I recommend bringing your own snacks or water. The prices at the cafe can be a bit steep, and there are great spots to enjoy a quick bite outside

My advice is to buy your tickets online to avoid long lines. We saved a ton of time by doing this!

If you’re a photography buff, try to go right when they open at 10 AM. The lighting is perfect, and fewer people means better shots!
Alcalde Park

Wear comfortable shoes for walking - the park is bigger than it looks, and you’ll want to explore all the hidden corners without sore feet!

I suggest hitting up Alcalde Park early, around 8 AM. It gets pretty crowded later, and you want to snag a good spot for pics!

I think the food trucks there are amazing, but the lines can be long. Try eating mid-afternoon when it's less busy!
Las Caletas

For snorkeling, definitely bring your own gear if you can. Rentals can be expensive, and having your own mask and snorkel made all the difference for a more comfortable experience.

Don’t rush your visit! Spend a lazy afternoon soaking up the sun. The beach is beautiful and relaxing, and staying longer means you'll catch the stunning sunset.

I suggest booking your tickets in advance online to save a few bucks. I snagged a good deal this way and avoided those crazy long lines on the day.
