Macroplaza

Check out the fountain shows in the evening; they’re really cool and make for a great photo op! I recommend going around 8 PM for the best experience.

Don't miss the Fuente de la Vida, especially during the day. It's stunning! I got some great shots there that you wouldn't want to miss. Bring your camera!

Watch out for your belongings, especially in crowded areas. I had a close call when I was admiring the views, so just stay alert and keep your bag secured.

Check the local events schedule before you go. I stumbled upon a live music performance that was incredible; it made my visit even more special.
Mexican History Museum

I suggest getting there right when they open at 10 AM to beat the crowds and have a more personal experience with the exhibits. Trust me, it makes all the difference!

I think you should set aside at least 2-3 hours to really enjoy everything. Rushing through just means missing out on some fascinating stories!

Look out for the interactive displays; some of them are super engaging. I wish I had paid more attention to those because they made learning about history way more fun!
Horno 3 Steel Museum

I suggest getting there when they open at 10 AM. It's way less crowded and you have more time to explore without feeling rushed. Plus, you'll probably snag some great pics!

My advice is to check for any special exhibits or events happening during your visit. Sometimes they offer unique experiences that really enhance the tour!

I recommend buying the combo ticket for Horno 3 and the neighboring museum. It saves you some bucks and you get to see more amazing stuff!
Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Modern Art Museum

If you're into the café vibe, grab a coffee at their on-site café. It’s a great place to relax and they have tasty snacks too.

Bring a camera, but check the photography rules before your visit. I got some great shots, but some areas don’t allow it.

I suggest visiting on a Wednesday; they had free admission that day, and it was less crowded to enjoy the art at my own pace.
Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of Monterrey

I suggest checking the schedule for mass or events before you go. Experiencing the cathedral while a service is happening can add to the atmosphere, but be prepared for more visitors during that time.

I recommend visiting the cathedral on a weekday, especially around 10 AM. It's way less crowded than weekends, and you can really soak in the beautiful architecture without rushing.

If you plan on taking photos, my advice is to walk around the outside first. The best angles are from certain spots, plus you can avoid the crowds inside while you're at it.

Bring a small water bottle! There aren't many places to grab a drink nearby and you don't want to waste time searching when you could be exploring more
Northeast Museum

I recommend getting there early, like around 10 AM, to beat the crowds. It makes exploring so much more enjoyable and you can take your time with the exhibits.

I suggest bringing your own snacks or lunch. The cafe prices are kinda high for what you get, and there's great picnic spots inside the museum area.

I think it's smart to buy your tickets online if you can. I had to wait in a long line, and it wasted some of my time enjoying the museum!

My advice is to check if they have any special exhibitions before your visit. Sometimes you can catch something really unique that isn’t part of the regular setup.
Cerro del Obispado
Bishopric Palace
Old Neighborhood

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. The crowds on weekends can be overwhelming and you’ll get better photos without tons of people in the background.

I recommend wearing comfy shoes. The cobblestone streets are beautiful but tough on the feet after a while, so be prepared for some walking
To save some cash, try grabbing lunch at the local markets instead of restaurants. The street food is tasty and super affordable!
