If you can, bring a water bottle and some snacks – the café there is kinda pricey and crowded.
Don't skip the gift shop; they have unique souvenirs! I found some quality stuff that was more affordable than at other places.
Try to spend some time at the giant Olmec head; it's such a photo op! I wish I had taken more pics there.
Watch out for your belongings; I heard some reviews about pickpockets, and I made sure to keep my bag close.
Soumaya Museum
Frida Kahlo Museum
Temple Major
Don’t miss the small exhibits tucked away off the main paths; some hidden gems that are worth your time and aren’t crowded at all.
I suggest wearing comfy shoes. You’ll be doing a lot of walking on uneven surfaces, and trust me, you’ll want to be comfortable!
Definitely get there early, like around 9 AM, to beat the crowds. It’s way more enjoyable to explore when it’s not so packed!
Bring some water and snacks – the museum can take a while to explore and having your own refreshment will save you from overpriced food options.
Museo de Cera
i think you should check out the interactive exhibits. they were way more fun than i expected and made the whole experience feel special.
I recommend spending some time in the gift shop after! They have unique items that make for cool souvenirs, but be warned: some prices are a bit high.
The Memory and Tolerance Museum
The Museum Papalote
National Museum of Art
Keep an eye on their events calendar. I found a fantastic live music performance happening while I was there, which added to the whole experience.
Don't miss the rooftop terrace. It has a stunning view of the city and is a great spot to take a breather from the indoor exhibits.
Bring a small notebook! I found jotting down my thoughts on the artworks helped me remember them better, and it was fun to reflect on later.
The Franz Mayer Museum
Watch out for the audio guides! They’re great, but I found some of the buttons a bit confusing. Just take your time getting used to it before diving in.
