National Museum of Anthropology

If you can, bring a water bottle and some snacks – the café there is kinda pricey and crowded.

Don't skip the gift shop; they have unique souvenirs! I found some quality stuff that was more affordable than at other places.

Try to spend some time at the giant Olmec head; it's such a photo op! I wish I had taken more pics there.

Watch out for your belongings; I heard some reviews about pickpockets, and I made sure to keep my bag close.
Independence Monument
The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Constitution Square

If you can, plan your visit during the weekdays. I went on a Saturday and it was super packed, making it hard to appreciate the architecture. Weekdays are generally more peaceful.

Look out for street performers while you're there. They can really add to the experience, but be sure to keep some small change on hand if you want to show your appreciation.
Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe

I recommend checking out the art galleries on site – totally worth the time! I spent an hour there and it was surprisingly enriching and not crowded at all

I think it’s best to visit on weekdays if possible. You’ll have a more peaceful experience, and it makes a huge difference when taking photos without too many people in the background.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. You’ll be walking a lot! The grounds are huge, and you’ll want to enjoy every corner without your feet hurting.

Don’t miss out on the market nearby! They have awesome local snacks that are super cheap and so delicious. Way better than overpriced stalls inside.
Monument to the Revolution
Soumaya Museum

Don’t miss the rooftop terrace! The views of the city from there are amazing and a great spot for photos. I almost forgot about it until I was leaving!

I really enjoyed the free admission, but I think booking a time slot online would be a good idea. It can get busy, and reserving a spot ensures you won’t have to wait forever.

I suggest coming on a weekday if you can. The weekend crowds can be insane, and you'll enjoy the art more when it's not so packed. Plus, it's easier to take pictures without a million people in the background.
Chapultepec Palace
Frida Kahlo Museum
Temple Major

Don’t miss the small exhibits tucked away off the main paths; some hidden gems that are worth your time and aren’t crowded at all.

I suggest wearing comfy shoes. You’ll be doing a lot of walking on uneven surfaces, and trust me, you’ll want to be comfortable!

Definitely get there early, like around 9 AM, to beat the crowds. It’s way more enjoyable to explore when it’s not so packed!

Bring some water and snacks – the museum can take a while to explore and having your own refreshment will save you from overpriced food options.
