Timlalin Dunes

Bring plenty of water and snacks! It can get pretty hot, and you don’t want to keep running back to expensive beach cafes.

if you're not a pro at sandboarding start on the smaller dunes first. it can be intimidating and easing into it makes for a more enjoyable experience.

Check for local vendors for sandboarding gear instead of renting from the beach. You might save some cash and get better equipment too.

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. The beach was much less crowded, and it really allowed for more fun and relaxation.

Anchor Point

I recommend checking the surf forecast before you go. There are times when the waves are just perfect, and other times they’re a bit wild. Makes a huge difference!

My advice is to visit the local markets for snacks instead of eating at restaurants all the time. You'll save money and get some really tasty, authentic food!

I think bringing your own gear could save you a lot of cash! Rentals can add up, and I wish I would've brought my own board instead of renting
Stade Adrar
Plage d'Imsouane

dude, if you're planning to surf, hit the waves early at around 7 am. the crowd is way smaller, and the waves are perfect. i missed that opportunity and had to wait in lines later on!

For food, skip the touristy spots near the beach. I found this awesome local place a few blocks back where you can get a big tagine for a fraction of the price. Trust me, you'll love it!
Plage Imourane

I recommend bringing cash for beachside cafes; some don’t take cards, and you don’t want to miss out on that awesome mint tea after surfing!

My advice is to try the local food stalls in Tamraght instead of touristy restaurants; they're way cheaper and have way tastier tajines!
