I think booking in advance is the way to go. We missed out on a couple of popular tours because we tried to walk in – total bummer! Just check online and secure your spot ahead.

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. The terrain can be tricky and I regretted wearing sandals on my visit. A good sturdy pair of hiking shoes would be perfect

I recommend asking your guide for the best photo spots. They know the area well, and I wish I had gotten some insider tips sooner. You won’t want to miss those epic dune pics!

I suggest packing some snacks and plenty of water. There aren’t many places to buy supplies nearby, and trust me, you’ll want to stay hydrated while exploring those incredible rock formations.

My advice is to skip the souvenir shop right away – prices can be a bit steep. Instead, check out local markets in nearby towns for better deals on unique crafts.

I recommend bringing binoculars if you're into birdwatching. The views are amazing and you'll want to catch all the little details. Just don't forget sunscreen, that coastal sun can sneak up on you!

My advice is to grab a snack from the local shops before heading to the Mole... The beach food can be pricey, and I ended up spending more than I wanted... Plus, you'll want to enjoy your nibble while taking in the view

I suggest bringing a light jacket because it can get pretty chilly near the water, especially in the evening. I learned that the hard way after getting caught without one!

Check the tides before you go! I found that the beach is best to visit around 3 PM when it’s easier to walk through the tide pools without getting soaked

Don't forget sunscreen and a hat! The sun can be brutal even if it's cloudy, and I definitely learned that the hard way after a long beach day.

My advice is to check out the feeding times for the seal and penguins. I missed it, and it looked like a ton of fun! It takes a little planning, but def worth it to see those cuties up close.

My advice is to grab a snack or lunch at the cafe before or after your visit. The prices are pretty reasonable compared to other places in Swakopmund, and the view is awesome!

I suggest checking out the feeding times for the seals; it got super crowded when I went, but it was totally worth it. Just plan your visit around 1 PM to snag a good spot.
