SnowWorld

I suggest checking online for combo tickets that include rental gear – it saved me a good chunk of change! And it’s super convenient, too.
Petanque Association Gouda

If you're not great at petanque, don’t stress! I recommend asking locals for a quick lesson; they’re super friendly and love teaching newbies. It made my experience way more enjoyable.

Check the weather before you go. I visited on a rainy day, and I wish I had brought proper gear. An umbrella saved me, but I still got soaked!
I suggest getting there around 4 PM on weekdays. It’s less crowded, giving you more chances to play and mingle with the players without the rush.
Area 51

I suggest visiting on a weekday around 3 PM. The lines are way shorter, and you can enjoy the ramps without feeling rushed. Way better experience!

check the special events calendar before you go... i ended up missing a cool skate contest cause i didn’t look it up... it would’ve made my trip epic!
Madurodam Miniature Park

If you’re into photography, go for those golden hour shots! The lighting in the evening makes the miniatures look even more stunning, and it’s a lot less busy too.

I recommend packing a picnic! The food inside is a bit pricey, and while there are snack options, enjoying your own lunch on the grass was a nice way to save money.

Make sure to wear comfy shoes! There’s a lot of walking around to do, and I learned the hard way when my feet started to hurt halfway through the park.

I suggest visiting on a weekday to avoid the weekend crowds. We went on a Thursday and it felt way more chill with fewer people blocking the view.
Petanque Association Waddinxveen

If you're not sure about the rules, ask the locals! They're super friendly and love to help newcomers... I had a great chat, and it made the game more enjoyable

Don't forget your sunscreen! If it's sunny, the open courts can get pretty hot, and I learned that the hard way. Brought a hat next time and felt so much better.
Hague 5
Stadion Feijenoord
I think it’s a good idea to explore the surrounding area after the game. There's often a vibrant fan scene that continues and you get to experience local culture

I recommend arriving two hours before kickoff to soak up the atmosphere. You’ll find stalls with local snacks and drinks, and it’s a great time to chat with fans.
Skate Fever

I think it's best to bring your own skates if you have them. Rental skates are decent, but mine were way more comfy and familiar.

My advice is to arrive right at 5 PM. The rush hour crowds are way lighter, and you get more space to skate!
Project 7 Cablepark

Don't forget to check the weather before you go! It was sunny when I arrived, but it turned cloudy and a bit chilly later. A light jacket or hoodie for after is a must.

If you're planning to rent gear, my advice is to bring your own if you can. The rental prices can add up fast, so just grab a wetsuit and board if you have them.

I suggest you book your tickets online to save some money. They have deals that aren't available at the gate, and it really helps when the lines get long. Trust me, it saved me some cash!
