Te Waikoropupu Springs

Look out for any local deals or discounts since some visitor centers sell combo tickets including other attractions nearby. I think I missed out on a couple savings during my trip!

If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend going early around 8 AM. It’s much quieter then, and you can enjoy the serenity of the springs without the crowds buzzing around. It makes for better photos too!
Tahunanui Beach
If you're looking to save some cash, pack a picnic... There's a great grassy area perfect for a relaxing lunch with a view... Trust me, grabbing takeout from nearby spots can add up quickly
Queen's Gardens

I suggest packing a small picnic and enjoying it on one of the benches... It saves money and lets you soak in the beautiful surroundings without rushing to find a cafe
The Brook Waimarama Sanctuary

My advice is to bring snacks and water. There are some areas to relax, but food options can be limited. I ended up spending more at the café than I planned. Pack a little picnic

I suggest wearing good shoes! The trails can be a bit muddy and uneven, so comfy footwear will make your walk way more enjoyable. I got a bit sore after slipping in my sandals, haha.
Black Hole

I recommend going on a weekday, especially in the morning around 9 AM. It was so much quieter then, and you really get to soak in the beauty without the crowd. Trust me, it's way more peaceful.

If you're planning to take photos, bring a good camera. The views are stunning, and my phone didn’t do it justice. Also, pack a small picnic to enjoy – there are some perfect spots to unwind and save on food costs
