I think you should bring your own lunch and snacks. The food prices at the lodge were a bit steep, so packing some grub saved me a good chunk of cash.

My advice is to check the weather the day before. We thought it wouldn't be too windy, but it was a bit bumpy. If you have a flexible schedule, you could change your booking for a smoother ride.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks; there's not a lot around and it can save you some serious cash. I got caught out and ended up paying double for a bottle of water!

If you're planning on surfing, I recommend hitting the waves early in the morning, like around 7 AM, when the winds are calm and the water's glassy. Trust me, it makes a world of difference
