Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa
For the best experience I recommend the evening slots around 7 PM when the sunset views are breathtaking and the crowd starts to thin out.

If you're heading to the pools, try to explore the garden area first. It's beautiful and provides a nice, relaxing vibe before you hit the thermal water
Moeraki Boulders Beach

I recommend visiting really early in the morning, around 8 AM, when the tide is low. You'll have a whole beach to yourself and the light makes the boulders look amazing for photos!

My advice is to bring some snacks and drinks. There aren't many shops nearby, and you'll want to relax without worrying about finding a cafe.

If you can, wear comfy shoes. The path to the boulders can get a bit muddy, especially after rain. Plus, you'll want to explore without issues
Milford Sound

I suggest you book a cruise that departs around 10 AM. It's not super crowded at that time, and you can enjoy the beauty without elbowing other tourists.
Fiordland National Park
Tekapo Springs
Te Anau Glowworm Caves
Onsen Hot Pools

My advice is to wear flip-flops! The walkways can get slippery, and you don’t want to risk a fall while juggling towels and your swim gear.
Abel Tasman National Park

I suggest packing a picninc lunch to enjoy at one of the beautiful beaches. It not only saves money but will be a memorable experience with the stunning views. We found a nice spot at Onetahuti Beach!

My advice is to rent a kayak for a few hours. It's a fantastic way to explore the hidden coves that you wouldn't see while walking. Just make sure to check high tide times to avoid any hassles.
Ngarua Caves

I suggest wearing shoes with good grip; the paths can get muddy and slippery. Trust me, I nearly wiped out!
