I recommend checking the tide times before you hit the beach. We missed low tide, and the rocky areas were harder to explore. Getting there around 1 PM would be perfect for the best of both worlds
You might wanna bring your own firewood if you can. We ended up spending a bit more at the camp store than I expected. It was nice to have a bonfire but it can get pricely!
My advice is to bring extra cash for the little extras like coffee and ice creams at the camp's shop... It’s a lovely spot, but the card machine was down when we visited, which made things stressful

Bring your own firewood if you can; buying it on-site can get pricey. We ended up paying a bit more than expected for a small bundle.
If you can, book a campsite with beach access; it’s lovely to roll out of your tent and onto the sand! I stayed at a site further back, and it felt like I missed out.
